The abstract intuitive process along side a titch of planning gives me the freedom to experiment with colour, composition and materials. I like to use glazing to get a translucent effect and enable a glimpse of the layers in my paintings.
My paintings are a form of visual story telling. I grew up in North Vancouver and the shoreline views were filled with Shipyards and other metal industrial structures.
