First of my ‘On The Edge of The Pond’ series.

Using the abstract intuitive process along side a titch of planning I get to experiment with colour, composition and materials. I like to use glazing to allow the translucent effect to allow the viewer to get a glimpse of the layers in my paintings. Inspired by my kayaking and hiking views of various water bodies.
My paintings are a form of visual story telling.
