I always have fun creating my art using this process of layers of paint and layers of collage and the excavating back into the depths of the material. The addition and subtraction of media is always exciting.

Layers of collage, acrylic and mixed media come together to form this contemporary abstract painting. Vintage sheet music and old sketchbooks provide some of the interest in this piece along with bright blue tissue that provides lovely texture.
